Hi carts I fitted the same kit to my 220 a while ago & came across the same thing...I think the all balls kit fits other types of linkage kits for other makes of bikes so the washers are for those kits as in the kdx manual there are no pics of washers to be seen between the bearings....I did manage to slip x2 washers in the lower link between the larger of the bearing but only just, I left the other x2 washers out as there was just no way they would fit in anywhere else...I have been riding the bike for many months now without any problems..just pack the bearings in good quality marine grease & copperslip the swing arm bolt & job done.

Cheers John, No im leaving the engine until last! Just in the process of getting the swinging arm bearings in & getting the rear shock looked at! took it apart & cleaned it & added fresh oil & guess what? Yeah its leaking slightly from a couple of places. Once I have the shock sorted I can get the swinging arm /wheel back on & have the luxury of being able to roll the bike again rather than lifting out the shed all the time.
