Rejet your Kdx!

Post by Actionman »

Just to let anyone new to the kdx who might be hesitant to jump into rejetting a poor running Kdx: do it now!! I bought the "oem equivalent " jets from jetsrus in 45 and 42 pilots, and 155 and 158 main as a baseline. I struck gold with a 42 and 158 with stock needle at one clip above the center clip. It was like going from an xr100 to a cr125 in how much stronger the powerband pulls. I could probably go up to the 160 main without messing it up, but it feels to good to mess with, $27 worth of jets brought out a whole new bike for me; it's worth spending a little for the massive improvents. Btw: the off-brand jets worked fine for me, but I'd recommend the few extra bucks on genuine keihin jets. I could've just gotten lucky.
