Yeah, I figure it'll be a pig if I install it like it is. I've got some rubber plugs ill use and drill a few strategic holes. It'll still keep water off better than not running it. I really appreciate it!

Everybody's going to laugh at me, but I love the way it runs with the airbox lid! It's a lot quieter to boot. I took a razor to the snorkel inside the airbox and increased the angle and size of the area the snorkel part that faces the filter. That gave it a little more air than the stock snorkel setup, and it seems fine. I do indeed notice a penalty on my power, but the quieter bike is a fair trade off to me. Very cool little lid, in my opinion. Keeps ma' filter dry too :)
