We have a '87 air cooled 200 that is leaking fuel from the tube, with the petcock off. Seems to have leaked more than a carb bowl full?? What carb parts would need to be replaced? Bike has the Mikuni VM34SS.
Is this carb still available to replace new? Or better off rebuilding? Any other mods or options for a ' 87 200-C1? Thanks.

Re: '87 KDX 200 carb questions
Welcome to the forum.
Where are you located?
Where exactly is it leaking? Is the petcock leaking or the carburetor?
I suggest you try to repair instead of replace.
Without more details, some common ailments are:
o-ring(s) inside petcock worn, causing leak
float level off
damaged float
worn needle valve (rubber tipped part that is pressed up into a hole by floats rising...this stops flow of fuel into bowl. If it is dirty or worn, it won't seal properly and cause an overflow.
