On my 2005 KDX 200 the pivot bolt broke off its purpose was to keep the rear brake pedal in place. How to I remove the bolt that is broken off?

is there room to get a pair of vicegrips on after you remove the pedal ?
if not bolt extractors might work, you drill a small hole in the bolt and insert the extractor, which kind of looks like a tap but with reverse threads

as you thread it into the hole (in reverse) it grips and eventually gets so tight in there it you will start unscrewing the bolt

You could also try left handed drill bits. I had never heard of these until I needed a broken bolt taken out of a clutch basket. A friend came over with them, center punched the bolt and started to slowly and carefully drill the bolt. The bit caught the bolt and backed it right out. He said it works about 90% of the time. Needless to say, after he left, I went and bought myself a set.
