Stripped pilot jet?
It never fails.....why is it a 5 minute job turns into a 2 hour fiasco? While trying to remove pilot jet I stripped the slots off its head. Any ideas on how to get this out?

Drill it and use an easyout. Very carefully!

Unfortunately, this is probably the only way. The good news is: Jets are soft and easy to drill. Take your time and stay relaxed...Indawoods wrote:Drill it and use an easyout. Very carefully!
Good luck!

Is this a place to say, 'lefty loosy, righty tighty' ?
I've seen a few sets of easy outs...don't know that I've ever seen one small enough to work on a drilled pilot.
Guess you folks have or you wouldn't bring it up.
Either tighten the next one less or (and?) use some never seize on it.
Any chance a different size of driver head would matter?
