91 KDX200 float height

I'm planning on cleaning my carb in my 91 KDX200 and I wanted to make sure the float what set right, does anybody know that stock height for it?

good question, I just set my 94 so that it shuts just before the floats are level. same as I would do with my hondas.

The manual says 16 +- 1mm. Here's a pic.

Look at the float height measurement section on that page. You want the number 4 measurement to be between 15 and 17 mm.
Follow the directions from that section and the note right below it and you will be fine.

I adjusted my float but still nothing. I sit there and kick and kick and kick. Sometimes it will spill gas out of the overflow tube from the carb. Think maybe a spark plug?

Like, float needle? When I looked at it, it wasn't dirty. I cleaned the whole carb up and down.

It is the cone shaped, rubber tipped piece that is supposed to stop the flow of fuel into the bowl. A dirty/damaged bore or dirty/damaged rubber tip can cause a leak.

thank for the info. diagram is great help. scrambler if your getting gas to the carb u may want to check the plug. bill
