new woods pipe: what reeds and jets?
since search isn't working I have to ask. I'm looking for some info on what reeds to use with full fmf woods pipe/muffler. Also what will these mods do to my carb? I know jets are subjective but will I have to lean it out or richen? Just looking for a starting point.

new woods pipe: what reeds and jets?
Man I have that sticky printed and posted on my workshop wall. LOL. I just got a new woods pipe on the way and was wondering if carb needs to be richer with the new pipe. I am currently running more lean than factory (155/45 i think, its been a while since i had it apart. and my needle is on middle clip).scheckaet wrote:you most likely need to lean it out from factory.

Thoughts on which way to go when I get started?

You might be good where your at. Might not hurt to get a 152 and a 42 but I would say it should be more then ridable until you have time to go through it right. The needle might need to get moved a little too. But remember, all anyone can do is guess. You need to find out for sure.
And for the reeds, the Boysen 607's seem to be popular or it is hard to go wrong with the V Force III.
