2001 kdx 220 Transmission

Post by danielashby »

Does anyone know if the transmissions are the same on the KDX 200 and 220? My buddy somehow managed to stick 6th gear to the input shaft on his '01 220 and we cant find oem parts for it. i guess the input shaft is on nationwide backorder. Theres all kinds of parts on ebay for the 200s but not so much for the 220.

Thanks,
Daniel

The only parts that are different between a 96-06 200 and a 97-05 220 is in the cylinder. Power valve, piston, bore, head.

FOR SHAME, you left out the chain (and chain guide??) :wah:

OP: Look on www.kawasaki.com under OWNER INFO, then PARTS DIAGRAMS (left side of main page. Use the menu system to locate your model, then select it. Once you get to the diagrams, click on the part number in the text at the bottom. Then, click on the yellow circle with the black question mark in the new window that pops up. It will show all the models that use that part number.
