Kips question H series
Popped the pipe off and kips side covers to clean the crap out and check on the piston(Will be getting a new piston soon, but still strong at 140psi), and noticed the kips wasn't closing all the way. It would stop 9/10, I could close the remainder. I messed with valve timing and got it to close completely but now there is a little tension holding it close, is this okay? I believe it was like this ever since the PO did a top end on it like 6-10 years ago.

I put a little tension on mine to help it stay all the way closed. Mine's an E bike, but same principle. Should be fine!

So....are you guys putting the kips out of time on purpose to aid the closing?Julien D wrote:I put a little tension on mine to help it stay all the way closed. Mine's an E bike, but same principle. Should be fine!
