Need help to find a part
I've searched on the web for a crankshaft kit which would include the crank with the connecting rod assembled, bearings, and gaskets but can't seem to find it. I also need advice on what brand of piston to get hopefully as a kit with gaskets, etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Need help to find a part
Nobody ever produced a complete replacement crank assembly for the KDX. You'll need to purchase a connecting rod kit and have yours rebuilt. For top end, If you have a 200 you have the option of ProX or Wiseco. If you have a 220, it is highly recommended to use forged only, which is Wiseco. Wiseco's top end kit is quite nice, and comes with everything you will need. I'm not sure what other brands may be available in your area, if any.

Re: Need help to find a part
Buying OEM is a pricey option. Generally a rod kit will be under $100 USD, and figure an hour of shop time to press it in. $60 in my area, will vary shop to shop. You have to buy the gasket set and bearing kit either way, so rebuilding your crank rather than buying new will save you a couple hundred.

Yep. There is no aftermarket crankshaft.
Is yours damaged or just needing to be rebuilt due to wear over time???

Andrew Cooksey here in Texas or Ron Black up north are both good.

You may want to check about Cooksey, looks like he is transitioning to just KTMs starting this month.

Utt oh, I guess I should have sent mine to him a little sooner. Oh well RB is cheaper anyway.
