New carb?

I am looking at getting a new carb and am not sure if I should go with the air striker http://www.jetsrus.com/individual_parts/016_160_su.html or with a normal carb http://www.jetsrus.com/individual_parts/016_150_su.html .

I want to get back to not having to screw around with jetting and just ride. The carb I have now seems to want all my attention every time I go out riding and even when I do get it dialed in it is looking for more attention the next time out.

So back to the original question, to strike or not to strike? The price difference is only about $20 so that has little to nothing to do with the decision. What is gained from the air striker?

I just want a more stabile carb for jetting. One that I won't be messing with all the time.

The little wings help increase throttle response at intital slide opening and make the awesome PWK just that much better, I imagine its worth the 20 bucks. 35mm is a little small though isn't it, don't you want to bump up to a 38 or so? Also doesn't RB sell them and already modified if you want that too?

The AS is supposed to be less sensitive so the $20 is probably worth it.

Stock carb on the 200 is 35mm. RB bores them out to 36mm. A 38 really is too big for a 200. Sure, it can be made to work but would it actually be worth it? I think not.

I will probably go with the AS in a month or so. I'm looking for a carb that is less sensitive to jetting requirements then what I have.

Yeah I guess I was just thinking out loud about about going up to a 38mm. My 406 comes stock with a 38 and I'm just going up to a 39 so a 35-36 should be plenty for a little 200.
