Got my foam the other day, and finished gluing it to the base feels a about the same as the OEM foam I removed, but then that was pretty old and not real soft so I'd guess this is a little firmer than the original. Great fit and finish though

I just ordered one, medium with black gripper cover.

I can see the step seat on a MX bike ued for MX, but would think no woods racer would do that. Now, I will have to check out hare scrambles and GNCC bikes to confirm. Thanks for putting me to work.

Well, from my short trip, I saw a few that were, but most were not.

"Throw you back in the seat" power can cause a step seat to come in handy.

KDX's don't have enough power to 'throw ' you off the seat like the new 450's...I've been to muddy hilly off road races where guys run the step seat and now some run pleated seats....

Those pleated seats look like they would help build up the ol callus pretty good.
