I was having a look at my kips cover and the water pump housing and noticed it said kx125 to some degree
I was wondering what years the H series KDX shared it's bottom end with the kx125 aside from the different gear ratio's in the trans.
this is simply out of curiosity

Re: kdx and kx 125 shared parts
The H-models shared nothing with the KX125 on the bottom end (or elsewhere). There was a KMX125 that used the same KIPS covers (it was a street legal 125 sold outside the US) but that's about it. The A-models and the H share a lot of parts, as well as some of the later E-model engines.

kdx and kx 125 shared parts
There were a few parts here and there, but basically "almost none" on any bike since the very first ones.
