KDX220 kick starter loose

My kick stater is loose, and swings out to far letting your foot slip off when wet. Low on funds and don't want to built a full hybrid set up. Will the kick stater from a 2000 KX250 bolt in and work using the whole assembly? Thanks Joe

I think so, Joe. I'm using a 99 kx250 boss with a kx125 lever. The whole 250 unit should fit.

Yes. A kx250 kickstart lever from 02 and prior works great.
That's what I run.
You do still need to use a washer behind it so that the nut tightens.
I believe it is a 5/8".

kx boss fitted to the kx 125 `shorty` kicker is one of the best/useful mods i`ve done to my 220.

How does the full KX250 system fit? Any problems with the lever hitting the tank? Is it shorter then the kdx one?
