For those who use aftermarket rear brake pads.....................do you use the oem heat shield or do you run without?

I reuse the heatshield.

If reusing means doubling the piston side brake pad(Metal Part), then yes I would reuse if I did'nt throw the thing out. I understand that it helps impead the heat transfer, preventing brake fade
