I'm checking the level for the float bowl using clear tube and have a couple of ques:
1 - What is the measurement for the fuel level in relation to where the bowl and carb body meet. I haven't been able to find the specs for this carb.
2 - The carb doesn't sit level, so measuring when it's fitted will give different readings. Is measuring while it's not fitted OK?
Thanks!

Re: PWK35 float bowl level
16 +/- 2mm strait from the manual
And yes you should remove the carb to check the float level
this link will help you on how to check the height

Thanks, I understand how to set the float height, what I'm trying to do now is check the actual fuel height in the bowl using a clear hose, similar to what's show here
What I'm after is the desired fuel height and exactly where it should be measured, considering the carb doesn't sit level.

Thanks, is that specifically for the PWK?
The only other thing is the carb doesn't sit level, so you'll get different measurements from different points of the seam. With the carb fitted, would reading from the center of the bowl be accurate enough?

Yes, that is straight from the manual which means it would be for the PWK. I can't say how to get an accurate reading while still on the bike. Personally, I would pull the carb to set it with this method. It really isn't hard to remove and would insure you get the level correct.
