Need advice on FMF/Pro circuit pipes

Post by MotocrossMatt »

Hi im looking to get something like a FMF Gnarly pipe and silencer for my 2006 KDX200. I know this has been discusssed alot but im still unsure. OK so i know theres a REV and a TORQUE version. Lets say for example i go for the rev pipe, will i lose out on some bottom end power ? or will it remain the same? obviously the top will improve. For me the KDX already has plenty of torque but not enough on top, i just dont want to lose more bottom end if i get a rev. I hear the Pro Circuit improves power everywhere, but which version? My kdx currently has the stock header with a YZ250 silencer on it , not sure why. Dont know if i should just get the FMF header or the full system.

both pipes will give you a little bit more overall power but the rev pipe really shines up high where the torque pipe really shines down low
the silencer is just shiny, doesnt add any power, just noise

Thanks i think ill just get a PC header pipe. The full system is way to expensive. Hope it fits my silencer.

lol, i missed that
iether way, if the YZ fits the stock pipe then it should also fit any direct replacement aftermarket pipe
