E-Series front wheel question...
Anybody know if the front wheels from the conventional and inverted fork models are interchangable (even if there's a bit of shimming or whatever involved)? I know they use the same axle.

Not sure. Front hub part numbers are different.

Re: E-Series front wheel question...
Yup. From what I see the on-paper run-down is as follows: Axle is same diameter, bearings are the same, bearing spacers are the same inside and out. Brake rotor is different, with a different mounting but the exact same outside diameter. Hub, and odometer gear are all different, but the hub has the same bearing to bearing width. Not sure. Front hub part numbers are different.
Which makes it all very clearly a maybe.

lol, yep. Until recently I had both types of front ends in my shed, however the 90 conventional front end is now gone, otherwise I would check for you. I believe it will work, but I can't say for sure.

Look on the EBC or other rotor manufacturer's site and see about rotor diameter. The front brake caliper is a different style, including mounting.

That's right. 89-92 had that single piston front caliper. 93/94 had the dual piston caliper. I want to say that I used an 89 front wheel on a 93 front end for a while, or it may be that I just attempted to. My memory is not what it should be these days! Good thing Jason is around, lol!!!

Outside diameter of both rotors is 250mm. Mounting diameter and bolt pattern is different.
