Rebuild question

Post by TheJackRabbit »

I'm in the process of rebuilding my 220 and my wiseco piston didn't come the bearing the goes inside the connecting rod and the piston pin, my question is: should it have come with one? should I replace it or use the old bearing?, and is a new oem bearing good to use?

Thanks

The bearing doesn't come with the standard kit.
You could use the old bearing but since you have it apart and not knowing how long the one one was in there, a new one is pretty cheap insurance.
An oem bearing is fine to use with the wiseco piston.

get a new one and change it.
Same goes with wrist pin and the 2 clips holding it.
