Hi.
Is the C series KDX any lighter than the H series?
Is the suspension C series adjustable?
I found a '86 200. Seller said it probably needs a new top end. But rest of bike is in tip top condition.
I like my 220, but I find its combination of tall height and weight makes it difficult for my short legs.
The C series is air-cooled and older design. I noticed older bikes are usually lighter because there're less stuff.
C series good?

The C would probably work good for you. It is a lighter, shorter, and simpler machine. The C series is what built the great reputation the KDX line still has today.

Re: C series good?
I've got a 6V 35 watt headlamp in mine and it works fine. I think I read somewhere that the output from the lighting coil is 60 watts but I could be wrong. Either way, it has plenty of power available for a headlamp and taillight. It'll get you back to camp but I wouldn't try racing the Baja 1000 at night without some upgrades.
