Here are the pics Rjcapt sent me on the XR frictions. He will have to describe them.

Thanks for posting those for me.

The first picture is the kdx (top) and xr plate side by side.

The second pic is the kdx plate overlaid on the xr plate.

The third pic is the thickness of the xr plate. 3.0mm the same as the kdx.

The fourth pic is the width of the friction area of the kdx 8.34mm

The fifth pic is the width of the xr plate 12mm.

Not quite twice the area as previously stated, but a full 50% larger.

Note that the xr plates are factory Honda and the tusk plates I just replaced them with have more friction material. Overall I'd think this to be a good upgrade and that's why I used them. YMMV.

Thanks for sharing the info and pics. I'll try these myself when my current ones wear out.

EFM Autoclutch (with Ride Report)

How are you getting a long with your EFM clutch? Thinking about one. Do you think it is worth the money. I loved the one in my RM250, now the KDX is my new love. Just trying to decide on a EFM or maybe a used Revloc. Thanks Joe
