hitting some seasonal roads tomorrow

Post by diymirage »

just thought i'd let you all know, ill be hitting some seasonal roads tomorrow
they are only about 30 minutes from the house but i will be trailering in the bike anyway, save my strenght for actual riding

these will be pretty fast tracks, nothing tactical other then avoiding the pick up trucks heading the other way
on a side note, ive heard the GLDS will be out there later this month aswell
anyone a member of that outfit?
im thinking of joining them

the wifey decided to take the boy to the ladies meeting at church this afternoon so i quickly put the bike on the trailer and headed out
it took me just under a half an hour to get to the parking lot of the electrician who sits on the very last section of the paved road

spend about 50 minutes hauling up and down the seasonal roads, nothing but loosely packed dirt and wet leaves covered trails
(honoustly i was surprised now much the rear end fishtailed on the loose dirt, even with the knobby on there it would still kick sideways shifting into 4th gear)

i had a blast though, it was nice to be out in the woods and actually hit some of the higher gears, even hit a few jumps in 5th

on my way home i realized i spend less time then i thought i would AND most of my fishing gear was still in the trailers toolbox
so i stopped by the park before heading in and actually caught a few fishems

good times
