200-220 interchangability

Post by diymirage »

hey guys

i have a 96 KDX 200 that is in desperate need of a replate
ive come across a good lead on a 220 top end (still need to check to ensure the piston isnt stock)

would i be able to take the 220 barrel and piston and bolt it onto the 200 block and install the 200 parts like the power valves into the 220 ?

200-220 interchangability

I THINK a complete top end from a 220 will bolt right up to a 200. I'm sure there will be many other opinions though so wait till the gallery chimes in. Then let us know if you make it work.
