Rekluse?
Does anyone know if Rekluse is ever going to make an auto clutch for the KDX?
If not is there any other option available? I emailed the place in Australia about shipping the revloc to the US, but have not heard back yet.
Thanks
Pete

Have you tried emailing/calling Rekluse to ask them?

Rekluse?
If not Rekluse, then you can contact Garry at EFM. He will make an autoclutch pressure plate very similar to the REkluse Z Start. However, there is no manual override of the autoclutch. The PRessure plate eliminates the KdX clutch actuator mechanism, so auto clutch is all you have. No lever to slip it if needed.

I did, and here is the response I got:SS109 wrote:Have you tried emailing/calling Rekluse to ask them?
"Thank you for your interest in Rekluse products for your KDX 200.
However, we don't currently have anything available for that model. Our
Research & Development team is always working on new products and to
make our current products available to more models. I have officially
submitted your specific request to our R&D Team. We will keep your
contact information on file. There is no ETA for this product but should
something become available, we will contact you."
I got this response from Tom Farris:
"Thank you for your clutch order at EnduroPilot.com! I am sorry be we are
sold out of the Revloc DynaRings for the KDX models. We are however
replacing them with the Rekluse EXP 2.0 as soon as it is released!
Unfortunately I have no release date at this time. I will however keep you
in the loop as to when we will start taking orders. I am sorry for any
inconvenience that this has caused but I think that you will like the
Rekluse version much better than the Dynaring"
I was just wondering if anyone here had any additional information.

Now, see, that was some valuable information you shared there. Now, just like we did with Revloc, all us KDX riders need to hammer Rekluse with requests for a KDX EXP 2.0! That is exactly how we got the Dyna-Ring for the KDX E-series!Rjcapt wrote:I did, and here is the response I got:SS109 wrote:Have you tried emailing/calling Rekluse to ask them?

I have spoke with Rekluse twice. I was told that the kdx clutch was not even into engineering as there was not enough market for them. They are focusing on more current models such as the klx 140. No market for kdx, but there is for the klx 140? Beats me

Re: Rekluse?
I've decided to go with EFM. I'll still continue to query Rekluse, but I want something NOW.
I am riding this weekend so I will ship my clutch out on Monday. I'll post updates for anyone who cares to read them. My first impressions have been favorable as Garry has quickly responded to all of my emails so far.

Yes, please keep us updated. Also, it would be cool to actually see pics of the EFM auto-clutch for the KDX if you can do it!Rjcapt wrote:I've decided to go with EFM. I'll still continue to query Rekluse, but I want something NOW.
