KDX250 shock on an E1?

Does anyone know if a KDX250 shock will fit on an E series? The shock on my E series is dead, seal gone and bumper is nonexsistant and am looking for a replacement.

Rebuilding yours is cheaper and easier.

The shaft has a huge chip in it and I can get the KDX 250 shock for $20; that is why I was wondering if it would fit.

The newest kdx250 you'd be getting a shock from would be like a 94. It would quite likely need to be rebuilt as well. It's hard to say if it would fit without looking, but I seriously doubt it.

eBay is showing some E series shocks. Just buy one and rebuild it.
