Need a litle help here, what is the proceedure to remove the rear brake hose guides? I noticed on Ron Ayers, the parts are discontinued so I do not want to destroy them. Thanks for the help.

They push down over a small, threaded stud. You will have to gently lift up on the two, small locking tabs in order to lift the up off the stud. Both of mine are broken. You can use some silicone to glue them back in place if you break them. Good luck.

Last night I got a chance to really look at them, I actually unscrewed them from the studs, and they did not break. I was shocked, usually the plastic parts are so brittle they just shatter.

On my '89 (I assume they are all the same) they sit on threaded studs like David said.
I was just unscrewing them from the studs. Until I lost one.

I replaced it with a little stick-on wire holder I bought from Ace Hardware.
Here are a couple pics.

You just put the hose in there and snap it shut. They have different sizes, and I think you want one that lets the hose slide inside of it.
Works and looks better than stock imo.
