No jetting-altitude adjusting carb

I saw one at a city event for the pikes peak hill climb, and saw this 700$ self adjusting carb that boasts 20% power gains, and more fuel mileage. I talked to the guy there and he said they tested one on a kdx. Have you guys heard of this?
