E series fuel petcock
Was wondering if the fuel petcock outlet is rotatable? Mine moves from horizontal can swivel down to about 45-50 degrees. I moved it down a bit to get a better angle on for the fuel hose but now notice a slight leak coming from the petcock.

I had the same problem on my bike as well, I rotated it to the right angle and then sealed around it with JB Weld. I remember before doing so that I pulled the outlet off and found that there's no O-ring or anything to seal it

The outlet is just a press fit. No O-ring or seal of any type and it isn't needed. You can pull the outlet off, put it in the position you want, then press it back in. I used a pair of channel locks and some popsicle sticks (to not mar the finish of the petcock) to press it. It worked perfectly and I have had no leakage. If it ever starts to leak just repress it in.

Thanks for the info. Will check it out when I get home. I think it has stopped leaking after I rotated it a bit.
