Headlight

Post by B737driver »

I have the same headlight assy. I ran both the park and headlight to the old power wire. Not sure what to do if you want a switchable hi/low beam though. :hmm:

There are a couple of threads relating to this headlight assembly if you do a search.

Looks great on your bike. :boogie:

OK, found it. My bike is street legal, although I only trail ride and never have at night. My bike did not have a switch when I got it and the light is just always on and no high low beam switch. Should I wire it so both lights are always on? Just needs to appear street legal when going from trail to trail and on 2 tracks. So should I wire up the light and parking light or just the regular light? Thanks?

HMMMM. Some more help would be great. Blue and white wires coming off main light, plus a green that may be a common ground? Then a brown and gree coming off the park plight with the green being spliced together. Main light seems best and brightest when only using the the blue or white (can't member which) and the green. Is this what I should use? Has me pretty confused.

I just need the main light. So obviuosly I disreguard the brown. Looking at it you would think you just use the blue and white but it works best using just one and the green. Is there spose to be low and high on the main plus the brown and green as a park light. Maybe that's it. Thanks guys

OK I think I got it. Blue high beam, white low beam, brown parking light, green common ground. Gonna put it on this way and just wire up the blue and green so high is always on. If this is wrong please let me know. Thanks guys.

Seems OK. Wired it just like I mentioned above. When the bike is running the bright light is on, no hi lo, on off switch or parking light. This should work just fine for me.
