I see a few folks here run the MMX. How does it attach to the bike? Can I still have the odometer mounted to the stock bracket and use the MMX? How about the LMX. Does anyone know where to source one? I actually prefer the shape of the LMX over the MMX.

I didn't reuse my stock odometer and bracket but I did put the bracket up and it looks like it would fit behind the MMX with no problem. If you note in the pic below of the rubber straps that wrap around the fork tube. That is how it mounts to the bike.

Thank you. I need to replace my front headlight. The bulb still works, but the plastic shroud is cracked and warping badly. New OEM shrouds are around $80!!! I was shocked that a piece of plastic would cost that much.

Yeah, something so cheaply made costing that much is crazy. Eh. I am really liking my MMX. Next up is either a 45 or 60 watt buld for it. That should be good enough for any night riding I do or the street.

Re: Polisport headlights
I'm happy that you like the MMX. Personally I prefer the look of the LMX a bit more but out seems you can't buy it in the USA.
Question: does the MMX come with it's own writing harness or can you just use/splice the factory wires?

I was kind of disappointed that no harness came with it. Just cut and splice and you'll need 1/8" female spade connectors.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep that in mind when ordering. I'm pretty good with a soldering iron so it shouldn't be a problem.SS109 wrote:I was kind of disappointed that no harness came with it. Just cut and splice and you'll need 1/8" female spade connectors.
