There is jetting, RB head mod, Jaguar ignition, handlebars, foot pegs, tire, pipe guard, Trail Tech computer, Fredette chain guide, removing the air box lid, hand grips, clutch lever, cables, frame guards, radiator guards, etc. I'm sure there are some I am forgetting. Some are free, some are not. Some are easy, some take some time and effort. Jetting is the one that will pay off the most and it is fairly cheap but time consuming.

All of the above would be nice to have but if your looking for a faster better riding bike then I would spend the $100 on gas and run it thru it. Seat time will make the bike faster then any parts.

If you haven't put a pipe on it yet, that makes a big difference. Maybe you could luck up on a used one for under $100. Aside from that, ditch the airbox lid and jet it, that's the best cheap performance add you can get.

IMO, The best mods for $100 would be:
#1) a (used) pipe - FMF "Desert" pipe if possible (for the 220)- any FMF or Pro-Circuit in a pinch
#2) a V-Force reed cage (I found mine on E-Bay for $75)

That's it. Yes you should jet the bike, but that should cost you around $10 and should not be included in this list.

Have you messed with the jetting?

For about $80, you can get 5 gallons of VP Racing Fuel U4.4. It will give you more power, but when the gas runs out, so does the power.

On a more realistic note, if you have not fooled with the jetting, that is a great way to get "more power" or to feel more power for cheap.

Indeed it's great gas....especially for storage since it must stay stable for 2+ years. However, to make the most power you want the lowest octane you can run without detonation.
