hey guys
i just got done replacing the front end on my KDX with that of a KX 125
i took her for a 35 second test drive and whiped out
hard
i had to replace the handle bars, the clutch lever mount and rebuild the headlight housing
when i took her out after that i noticed the front end doesnt line up
when i ride in a straight line the top tripple is turned slightly to the left

is there a way to realign this?
(not sure if i skipped a step in the rebuild or if the wipe out did it)

thanks

Do a search in the fork swap section or the suspension section and you should find a topic on the order to tighten the front end. I think skipro started it but I could be wrong.

It isn't hard. Just loosen the pinch bolts on the upper and lower clamps and bounce the front end a few times. That normally straightens them up for me. If not, with the clamps still loose, hold the wheel steady and turn the handlebars in the direction you need to straighten them up. Once straight, tighten everything and go ride!
