Auto clutch install?

Post by fulltiltboogie »

Does anybody have a install guide for the EFM they could email me? Since I can't contact by phone or mail RevLoc, I have decided to go the EFM route.
Maybe SkiPro's guide? Any tips appreciated. This will be my first time to even open the clutch cover and remove clutch........I just like to know as much about it as i can before I dive in with the removal and install. Thanks!

Do you have a large e-mail box? The file is quite large due to all the color photos. You also need a FAST internet connection. Otherwise, PM me your mailing address and I'll send you a hard copy. That's probably best anyway. I'm not sure Garry mails out the instruction sheet in color.

RevLoc can't make an auto clutch for the KDX due to the way the clutch engages; from the right side instead of the left.

I'm getting ready to send my KX250 clutch in to Garry. Maybe in a couple of weeks when I have some more cash available. When I do, I'll put together an instruction sheet for the KX.

It's a very easy mod if you have ever taken a clutch apart before, you will laugh at how simple it is to convert.

Sorry for the thread hijack but..... Can someone give me a contact for EMF?
I would like to get the clutch in my sons XR-80R converted if possible. He is having a bit of trouble grasping the clutch idea. It was a bit unnerving to see my eight year old son with about 5 hours riding experience do a 20 foot wheelie.

I think rigging up a wheelie bar would be cheaper Dave.

Dave, no need to worry about putting an auto clutch on his bike. Just practice up, and soon you will be able to do a wheelie as long as him.

Glad you got the e-mail. BTW, I'm sending off the KX clutch next week. I can't wait any more. If anyone contacts Garry at EFM, tell him you heard about him here. I'm hoping he cuts me a deal by sending guys his way.

Well guys, (Mike& Jason) Thanks for the, , support?

It has been a few days and I can laugh about the massive wheelie incident.

I freaked more than he did. Come to think of it he had a grin on his face the whole time.
