I just split my 92 DX200 a few days ago for the first time. LMK if you have any questions.
I'm currently searching for a press to get the right side crank case out of mine, but it's split and it was awesome.

I think you are saying the crank and bearing stayed in the right case half. If so you could heat up the case around the bearing and it should come right out.

Without damaging the seal(new seals were put in everywhere ~20 hrs ago)?
I was hoping to not need to redo every seal again.

When I put bearings in the cases, I put the cases in a 230 degree oven with no damage to the seals.

I got to ask - why are you having to split the cases if all the seals were recently replaced?

There's a thread around here somewhere... shortly after rebuild my head bolts and plug came loose. Somewhere between that and detonation from low octane gas in the desert left me with no coolant and a hole in my piston.

As people are talking about home made. Here's a link to the crankcase splitter I made for the E series. Might save someone a few ££

A few taps on the crank pin with a copper [HAMMER] does the job easy enough!

I found that if you go through and click each failed photo so it opens up the photo on the Photobucket website. Then when you re-load the KDX Thread, the failed photos will appear as actual photos again like they use to in the thread.

Hi all, just read this on another forum and wanted to share it here as pictures are so important to sharing info about our hobby. I just copied the post so here it is and it seems to work with firefox for me.
Fix for seeing Photobucket pics

Postby yavapaigunworks » Tue Oct 10, 2017 11:13 pm
If you're using Google Chrome, go to the three dots on the right side of the screen and click them. A drop down should appear. Hover your mouse over "More Tools," and when the next drop down appears, click on extensions. Go to the link towards the bottom that says "Get more extensions." In the search box, type "Photobucket Fix," and hit enter. Click the install button and once it's done, you should be able to see photobucket pictures again.

For FireFox users, click on the three bars on the right side of the screen, then click on add ons. Click search for "photobucket hotlink" and click install. Same result.

I just did this and now I can see all the old pics that were blocked

I did that, and I can see all the pictures.
Thank you, Julien D for all your hard work!

PLEASE! Do not "dip" PWK Keihin carbs in Berryman's to clean them! It will damage the internal o-ring (jet block gasket).
