Hello all

I'm new to the site and from the uk

But anyway I've got a fairly big problem

My crank some how snapped on the flywheel/magneto side, looks as if it had been repaired previously

But can anyone confirm from 1995 all engines are identical? I did read it somewhere before, but I just found this site and thought it would be better to ask all the kdx owners

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the site. Do you have a street legal KDX or dirt only? Maybe a UK Kawasaki dealer (Crawley's??? if I remember correctly) will have a parts diagram for you to look at. The USA version KDX and what you have may be different models. We never got a a street legal version. Our wise politicians saved us from such a fate.
Thank you for participating on kdxrider.net. :bravo:

All the H model (95-06) engine are the same.
I don't know about the SR model (what I assume you have), that was in europe only.

Mines not an sr

They released the kdx And the kdx sr over here

My bike was never registered for the road, as far as I'm aware that's how it's been since new.

I'll check the vin number after work, but im pretty sure it isn't an sr

If it was an SR, it would have a metal tank and an oil reservoir and oil injection pump. If it does not have these things, then it is probably not an sr. That being the case, any crank from 95 on would work.

Amazing! That's the answer I wanted ;)

No oil injection pump, no metal tank.

Thanks for all your help, get a crank ordered within the next few days hopefully :)

Is there a build thread on this site? As I'll get a before and after

Feel free to post your before and after or some build shots in the members bike profiles section, that's probably the best place. Working on a gallery for you guys as soon as I can get it together.
