kdx250sr exhaust
hi all.my 92 250sr has split her original exhaust open.does anyone know who makes a performance pipe that will fit on the sr model as it differs to the non sr model as its bolted on rather than being held on with springs

My 1990 sr has a collar bolted on where the exhaust normally bolts on. This collar then connects to the expansion chamber with springs. Hope this helps.

Re: kdx250sr exhaust
Hi Andy, glad to hear you got your exhaust sorted. Sorry I only just saw your post. What else have you done to your motor? this will effect what jetting to use. I nipped mine up when I took the silencer off the airbox. I have only just got it back together and like you I have just fitted an aftermarket pipe. Did your bike dribble black gunge out of the standard tailpipe and was it spluttering and running very rich on the idle jet, whats it like since you changed the pipe? Do you know what jets you are running atm? atb Sean
