Well I just got my MX style rear fender and aftermarket led taillight kit.

I expected to have to do some fabrication, drill holes, etc. but the spacing on the light's mounting bracket was a perfect match for the pre-drilled holes on the mx fender which mounts to the frame. Sometimes you win.

The led light must draw considerably less amperage because the headlight is now much brighter. I've read where some have had issues with led lights and their reliability, but so far so good.

Thanks. Rode it hard the other day for a few hours and so far the led taillight still works as advertised.

Where do ride? I live in Travis Ranch off 740 and ride behind the neighborhood or down in the bottoms behind the cement plant at 80 and the Trinity River. You can get lost in those woods for hours, just have to make your own trails.

I know where your talking about. Never been there. Latest trip was to the pit in Poetry. Decent trails, but prefer to ride at Barnwell Mountain in Gilmer. It's a road trip (2hrs) away, but well worth it. Google it and you'll see. Lots of jeep trails, but 20+ miles of single track with elevation changes. :supz: also ride up on the red river (deep sand) some. Good stuff as well.

Been to Gilmer in my Jeep ('83 Wagoneer on 35's) but never on a bike. Have heard of the Pit, never been. Need to get a 'hitch hauler' so I can transport the bike. No room at the house for a bike trailer and a pickup isn't in the budget currently.
