Hello.
So I have a thread but noone is responding in it...it might need more pics.
Anyways
My 1993 kdx 250 needs a new piston.
Cylinder was measured to be 67.41668mm
Now, im ordering a pro-x and im trying to find the right size. They say the piston to cylinder wall clearance is 0.06mm....now, Im pretty sure im supposed to minus that twice to get my piston diameter right? that is 67.41668-2(0.06) = 67.29668mm.
Now if this is correct, what clearance would be recommended if I went with a wiseco?
Thank-you!

Nah, don't subtract it twice. .06mm would be the difference between the cylinder bore and piston diameter. If your bore measurement is good, a pro-x std b piston will be fine.
If you order a wiseco, you will just go with the STD piston, of course.

Thank you!
Out of curiosity...what is the recommended gap when you run a wiseco in a steel bore? and a wiseco in a nikisil bore?
I ask i because I have a just that is like 2 sizes over, and would like to get its bore measured and just want to know whether or not it would need a re-bore.
