kdx 125
just bought a kdx 125 and it doesnt seem to hit the powerbad properly so i took the kips cover off and when the bike is off the valve to the resonator is closed and then when you rev it or pull the powervalve rod it opens i was under the impression that the valve to the resonator thing should be open to the resonator at idle the closed at higher rpms has anyone got any ideas?

I believe at lower rpm's the valve should be in the closed position. As the rpm's increase the valve should open up.
