I think there should be a stickied link in the board index too, for eveybody to see when they 1st join in.

Also, if we can't remove the subject line on every post, can we at least reduce the font?
thx

You still see the subject line on each post? Try clearing your cookies, I applied that fix yesterday, and it seems to be working fine. The thread subject should display only in the first post of each page.

I don't have any issues, all is looking good here, but has anyone noticed the increase of spam coming to your registered email account?

I went from zero to about 5 a day ever since the migration.

I can't think of any reason why that would happen, but I'll check through the security settings just in case. There were a couple spam accounts that got in while I was changing the user registration process, they have been removed and blocked now. Not sure if that could be related.

I miss it...
Ok so sometimes it is but sometimes it isn't. What's up with that? I'm completely lost without that button. In fact all the links that go with that one are gone too, like the "view your posts"etc.

Posts since last visit is now "new posts" and I believe it only shows up on the main index page. Seems to show consistently for me. "View your posts" is at the top under the banner by your UCP link, and shows in all forums/subforums.

At the top of the home page one of the options was "games". When you clicked on it you were given a small list of games you could play like "asteroids", etc.

Yes, I will bring back the games and links. Been on my mind, just haven't gotten to it yet.

I'm in Atlantic beach this weekend. Wifey had to come down to judge a dance competition. I just tagged along to get out of town for a day or two. Seafood, sand, and beer! Not sure how much work i will be doing. Lol!

Okay, I must be blind, but would someone point out the "new posts" button on the attached image?

May be a permissions issue? I'll check into it ASAP.

Alright, I think I got it. Those links are a function of the search feature, and for some reason search was disabled for registered users and available only to supporting members. I have made the change and enabled search for all registered users, as it should be. I believe the link you guys are looking for is "view unread posts". Can you try it now and let me know? Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

scheckaet wrote:maybe we should have a section called "bike tuning" or "how to" or something along these line where we could list all the links for:
-tuning carb properly
-tuning suspension properly
-just got a new bike what should I do?
-basic mod list how to
-part list cross ref...

...
seems the jetting how to is kinda burried in the jets and needles section where 99 % of new members can't find it.
I think a recap would be great.
Any volunteers to create the initial thread? I love the idea, but parsing through all the info and compiling it in a relevant order is something I don't have time for just now. I'd like to see all the info from Inda's Best of the Best Mods, some jetting info, and other important newb info, all consolidated into one nice article. Hmm? There could be something in it for ya.
