I've put a Moose intake spacers on a couple of my kids 80's and it added torque down lower in the power band. I'd definately say they work. My goal at the time was to take a couple CR 80's and make them easier to ride in the woods. I'm not sure how big a difference it would make in an engine that's all ready tuned for low end. Keep us posted though.

IMO, a reed spacer is a waste of time.

From what I know about reed spacers, they do not add any power anywhere, but can be used to mellow out the low/mid hit on bikes with a very peaky powerband. Not adding torque, but making it more managable. Don't think the KDX would benefit from this, personally.

I fabricated an 1/8" spacer for my son's 200 and I think it made a difference.
Now , your expectations have to be real as it just made the bike crisper down low.
Same theory as an exhaust torque ring , the limitation there is it can only be so thick
to still have the pipe seal in the port.
