questions about the power valve.
i got another cylinder for my 91 kdx 200 and i need some advice on how to set the timing on the power valve the correct way? also off topic what size bars are on a 91?

7/8 bars on the 91.
The timing is supposed to have the main valve and sub valves closed when the rod is in and all of them open when the rod is pulled out/away from the cylinder. There are dots on top of the gears of the sub valves and the idler gear to line it all up but you can figure it out by how it works.
Really you need a manual.

I like the forged wiseco's because they're stronger and I've had a cast oem blow up on me. but that piston was way way overdue and I should have known better.
I will say that any new piston is better than an old one and if you're wondering at all when you see it then change it.
A new cast prox will be just fine.
