No Problemoo, I think they are due in early March...takes a little while!! I just picked up a 1984 KDX200 in a box...and I have another Box bike, probably make something cool outta these!!

Do ya have a piston kit for an '83 KDX200? There are other parts I'm after too, but the top end needs an overhaul pretty bad. I'd really like to find a new motor assembly, because the oil drain plug was tightened enough to break the case. Let me know?!

Hi there folks! I am just getting physically back online...I had a pretty serious relapse of the "big C" and it took a while to get back to being a survivor! Anyways, the Wossner pistons are on the way, 6 weeks max! And I actually have a complete 84 motor if you are still looking!

Glad to hear that you are a survivor! I am interested in a piston kit for my 84 kdx200 or the 84 engine you mentioned.

I just put a Wiseco in my 83 kdx200.i orderd a piston kit from a late model. Had to grind alittle on the bottom to clear. It had a Wiseco and I just ground down till it matched the original and then made sure it cleared the cases and its good to go.

I own a 1983 KDX 200 and am in need of a top end. Do you have availability or a source for Pistons and rings? First time posting, any advice or info appreciated. I was told a 1995 KDX piston would work, is that true? It is approximately 3 mm shorter from the piston pin to the top of the head.

Try calling The Wheel Master 9-5 Mon-Thurs (Pacific Time). He's a weisco authorized dealer and stocks many KDX pistons. Phone # is 253-927-0271

I need a 1983-1985 KDX200 piston kit for my 1985 KDX200, can anyone help??

I just got an 83 engine for my 88 frame had a little modification to get it in but the top end will need work at some point let me know when you get another order in

FYI, I contacted the guy recommended in this thread "Wheel Master, a weisco authorized dealer and stocks many KDX pistons. Phone # is 253-927-0271" yesterday and spoke with owner Morrie. A pleasure to speak with someone as knowledgeable as he is. For my 1985 KDX200, he confirmed there are no availble OEM piston/rings, there are no substitutes, and the viable options are: (1) sleeve cylinder & bore/hone to accommodate use of an over-bore Wisco piston kit {he stocls kits & can perform mods} and (2) plate cylinder/mod to use available piston kit.

I'd recommend anyone seriously interested in keeping their vintage bike alive to contact him and hear first hand what can be done. I'm planning to ship my cylinder to him, let him evaluate & recommend best option. Simply sharing as I go along.

I know Morrie and his Son Jim. Great guys. Morrie does great engine work and has been in the business for many years. Jim has built all my wheels and if you ever need a wheel built, he is the go to guy. I've never had a problem with a wheel that he has worked on after he worked his magic.
