I haven't tried the grabber green yet, so I can't say. It helps if you can bake any paint. Maybe take it to a powder coater just to bake it in their oven.

I wish i could afford the powder coating lol. I really like the green idea. Blue wouldnt be bad either tho. I got the frame all cleaned from gunk today. Goo gone works wonders. Now im cleaning the swing arm and rims. I still have to sand the frame, and get some paint. Anyone have any opinions on sand paper grade i should use?

Thanks my wife is really generous lol. I have a shop i made out of a spare room and its really drafty and cold in there in the winter so she offered to let me use the living room lol. I got the bike mostly together today . Just waiting for the bearings to come in and i need my new chain and stuff but other then that its pretty close. Here is a pic of what i got done today

Very very fine choice on the frame color. With the white plastics it'll look dynamite

finaly got the bike back together so i could take it out for a ride.. the rear bearings def made a difference.. tightened the whole thing up nice, but i only got to ride it for a few minutes and the clutch cable broke.. so guess i got to wait for that to come in.. i forgot how much power this lil bike had lol.. surprized me a few times..

still need to get a number plate, handlebars have got to go.. those are twisted pretty bad, and i want to try and find a nice rear mx fender for it.. still more work to come but its back together now

plans for later:

new silencer, head pipe, reeds, hand guards, pro taper bars, mx fender, and more.. more.. and more..

I also saw your bar mount. I was wondering if that was stock or not as the 89 has a cast mount. I like yours better.
