Revloc fine tuning help

Post by Tom2smoker »

I got Revloc from ebay. The Install went sweet.

Ok here is the run down

02 200 h8

3 springs in ring

1 thurst washer

cable index is good

So here is what I got. I start bike pull clutch in and engage gear let out clutch bike stalls. I rode in yard clutch locking up great! no slip!

Do I need to go to 4 spring ?

Any help would be great!

I run two in mine. Same motor. Play with the perch adjuster. add more cable tension.

Remember adjusting the clutch with the Dynaring seems somewhat backwards. To get the clutch to slip at idle you have to tighten the clutch perch adjuster. On mine there is a very fine line between too tight (tight perch) disengaged at idle and slipping at speed. Too loose (loose perch) grabs at idle and clutch lever has no function. Even 1/8th of a turn seems affects the auto clutch operation. Once you get it right you dont have to mess with it. good luck.
