Lighting coil
Just read Indawoods "best mods sticky" he mentions a stronger lighting coil will excite/boost the bike performance slightly. Everybody agree? Does it help low RPM or high RPM or everywhere?
Does anyone have a link to the recomended one?

I also understood from those guys that it did in fact improve performance slightly. I wasn't clear on if it was a flywheel effect or an ignition effect.
Look at some old posts from canyoncarvr, I think he investigated it pretty thoroughly.

i don't think it's going to affect the ignition. the ignition uses it's own dedicated pick-up coil.
i have a steahly 65w stator with an stock headlight and it makes it much brighter, as it's supplying the headlight with the full rated wattage unlike the stock stator. i was slightly brighter than my buddy's baja designs equipped xr650
