What do you guys do with your KDX battery in the winter?
Should it be disconnected, pulled out and brought inside, thrown on a charger once in a while? Thanks guys

A battery may have been added if it was ever made street legal, for the added electrical capacity needed for the additional lights.
Generally speaking, batteries should be maintained at full charge if subjected to below freezing temps. You can either:
Fully charge the battery and store in a warmer place (in the house, etc)
Charge the battery once a week or so by running the engine or using an external charger
Or, (what I do) put a trickle charger such as a "battery tender" on it and forget about it. I have a bunch of them, they are cheaper than new batteries every year....

An additional thought
The lower the charge on a battery, the more susceptible it is to freezing. Once it freezes, it's wasted. Also, the lower the temperature of the battery, the less current is available. That's why batteries have a CCA (cold cranking amps) rating on them. Once you start talking seriously cold (-20 or so), keep it warm even if fully charged.
And one more.
On a standard lead acid battery, always charge it in a well ventilated area, it produces noxious and very flammable fumes while charging. And a dead battery has explosive potential.
