Exhaust Seal

Post by uggski »

On the last ride i had a bit of an off and dinged the exhaust. Now it does not sit quite right in the exhaust port and I am getting some blow by. I have fitted a new exhaust gasket but still does not seal properly. Tried straightening it a bit but no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a thicker gasket or repair without buying a whole new front pipe.

You will want to get the pipe straightened back out so it won't have the tension on the exhaust port.

Thanks for the help guys. Will try the aligning over the weekend. Otherwise I will try some thermal rope as a slightly thicker gasket.
