This is pretty much what an 89-94 (e series) looks like. Of course, the USD forks, mx fenders, and graphics were added by me. But take a look at the side number plates, frame, and gas tank.

Yours is what a 95-2006 looks like, with the perimeter frame, different number plates, seat, etc...

Interesting... I'm gonna have to do some more digging in the old mans records!

Mods, move the post if you like to the H forum? or just file under n00b.

The vin is coded, it's one of the first few letter that indicates year.

Thanks! I'm kind of proud of the old girl. If you keep an eye out on ebay, those graphics kits pop up once in a while. They are Ceet Apex, I believe.

I concur. My neighbor has a 96 with a purple tank.

Checked my vin. Holy crap this thing isn't nearly as old as I thought.

Year code = T, 1996!

PS. Gotta get started on maintenance... so I converted all the scrap wood in my garage to a dirt bike stand! No, it didn't have to be as wide as it is, but I already had an oil drain pan for my car... soo, I just made it work. Could have added another inch or so... the front wheel barely touches the ground... if I shim it with a piece of 1/4" stock it's in the air... no biggy.

Stand looks good, and the bike looks very clean for its age(Wish mine was in that shape). Clean it up and ride it like you stole it.

Yeah thats the problem with not riding it much lately, too pretty! Nice bit of oil running down the front of the jug if it makes ya feel better :?

Gonna add exhaust gaskets / o-rings to my rebuild list.
